Nutritions

The big question is… Do we live to eat, or do we eat to live? We have pondered this question for decades now, but in this new transcending health revolution that is sweeping this beautiful Blue Green planet right this second,  a new ponder has emerged  “Is there life in your food?” or just food in your life! The Answer lies & runs through the 60,000 miles of tubing that connect all vital organs in the human body. In order to live a long life with relative vitality, one must understand that there are two parts to health. Knowing what to put in your body and what not to put in your body.

Laying down the foundations for a healthy happy life starts with the basics. FRUITS, VEGETABLES, NUTS, SEEDS & GRAINS. We are all told from a very young “Eat your vegetables, they are good for you” in most cases our parents not really knowing why they are good for us. It’s simple, fruit and vegetables, nuts, seeds & grains hold high amounts minerals, trace minerals, vitamins & amino acids. When consuming these foods, miraculously the human body extracts these nutrients, which in turn makes our immune system and vital organs function at an optimal level.

The next step on the Conscious Health Pyramid and probably the most significant would be LIQUIDS. This does NOT MEAN: Soft Drinks, flavoured Dairy Milk Drinks, Energy Drinks, Soda Waters, and Fluourinated bottled/tap water. Simple clean water with no additives served in glass bottles or BPA free bottles is a good base for your daily liquids. Most importantly, what to add to your water? Big winners with a lot of the Health Extremists are: Kombucha, Hibiscus Tea, Yerba Mate Tea and Algaes, just to name a few. Soak your flowers or powders overnight in clean water then you have yourself a nice cold beverage without destroying any of the nutrients. This simple process can be applied to all teas and powders by soaking ingredients in decanters and glass jars.

Climbing the Great Pyramid of Giza, you will find yourself at yet another level of Liquids, JUICES & SMOOTHIES. This is where you will start to gain a lot more energy and feel that you are consciously moving in the right direction. Cold Press Juicers use just enough pressure to extract the juice while preserving its vitamins, enzymes, trace minerals and overall nutrients up to five times more than any other juicer. The idea is to create a nice balance between the two. My daily juice consists of : Celery, kale, beetroot, carrots, apples, ginger, lemon, cucumber & wheatgrass. A Rotation of all these beautiful colors will give you just what the body ordered.

SMOOTHIES are a really good addition to your health transformation. Being a Plant Baser (on a Vegan Diet) starting to create your base for the smoothie begins with “Non-dairy” milk. Non-dairy options, include: Oat Milk, Almond Milk, Soy Milk, Coconut Milk, Cashew Milk, Macadamia Milk or Hemp Milk. My daily smoothie consists of : 250ml Almond Milk, 2 Bananas, 1tbsp Cacao Powder, 1tbsp Maca Powder, 2g Algae Powder, 1tbsp MSM Powder, 250ml Clean Water.

Finally, remember that: The Human body doesn’t really require much food, it’s basically a Hydrogen Machine made up of 70-72% water. Next time you are hungry try drinking a big glass of any of the liquids discussed and in most cases the hunger will go away leaving you with more energy to go about your day.

Peace, Love & Common Sense 🙂
